Position Overview
Sitetrax™ is seeking skilled Underground Utilities Installers and Crew Members to join our growing field team. This role involves hands-on installation of underground water, sewer, stormwater, and conduit systems for development projects across Southwest Florida. We’re looking for dependable, hard-working individuals who thrive in outdoor environments and value precision, safety, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and connect underground utility systems (water, sewer, storm drainage, conduit)
- Operate trenchers, mini-excavators, and other construction equipment
- Perform trenching, pipe laying, grading, backfilling, and compaction
- Follow plans, grade stakes, and supervisor directions with accuracy
- Adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and site-specific protocols
- Assist in jobsite prep, cleanup, and general labor as needed
- Communicate clearly with team members to ensure workflow and safety
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience installing underground utilities (commercial or residential)
- Ability to operate basic construction equipment and power tools
- Understanding of PVC, HDPE, and concrete piping systems
- Familiar with trench safety, pipe bedding, and utility separation requirements
- Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Preferred Qualifications
- CDL or heavy equipment certifications a plus
- Experience with laser levels and utility-grade layout
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is helpful
